Breathing Space
by Jackie Jones

How wonderful it would be to find a space in which to breathe
To breathe a breath long for filling, clean and deep,
A breath that lifts you up off your feet
How wonderful it would be, to find a space in which to breathe

How happy would you feel, breathing deep standing still
Light and floating away above, filled with hope peace and love
Motionless alone and silent, perfect space a perfect time spent
How happy would you feel, breathing deep standing still

How will we ever know, if we don’t try or give it a go
Inhale exhale seems so simple, why then at times does it feel so sinful
A right surely it should be to take a breath and simply be
How will we ever know? If we don’t try or give it a go

Give a friend a space in time I have some, here, you have mine
Stand right back and let them breathe deep and long know when to leave
Its free to give but priceless too, a gift from me and a gift from you
Give a friend a space in time; I have some, here, you have mine.
